๐ผ SFJobs โ Pick a Job, Get Paid
A new long-form progression system. Type /job set <name> to pick one of five jobs; each has its own GUI (/alchemist, /farmer, /miner, /lumberjack, /hunter) where you can see your job level, see exactly which items you're allowed to sell, and bulk-sell from your inventory by clicking a tier icon.
- One job at a time. Switching wipes your progress in the old one โ you'll get a
[Confirm Switch]chat prompt before anything destructive happens. - Sell from inventory. Click a tier icon in your job GUI to sell every matching item from your inventory at once. Locked tiers show as gray panes with the level they unlock at.
- Progression matters. Each job has 7 tiers (6 for Miner). The newest tier you've unlocked is always the most lucrative โ both money and xp ramp up with rarity.
- Need money? /bal is still your friend โ all job earnings go straight to your SFEconomy balance.
โ ๏ธ When you switch jobs you lose all xp and level progress in the previous one. There's no merge, no refund, no transfer. The chat-link confirmation expires in 30 seconds.
๐ท Alchemist
Brew and sell potions. Harder brews are worth more.
- Awkward โ Splash of Swiftness โ Fire Resistance โ Night Vision โ Strength โ Regeneration โ Turtle Master.
- Each tier matches by potion type, not just material โ a Strength Potion sells at the Strength price, not the Awkward price. The GUI icons even show the correct potion color so you can tell tiers apart at a glance.
๐พ Farmer
Grow and sell crops. Easy stuff first, exotic stuff later.
- Carrot โ Cactus โ Sweet Berries โ Melon โ Pumpkin โ Chorus Fruit โ Pitcher Plant.
โ๏ธ Miner
Sell mineral blocks. The currency-heavy job โ iron blocks alone are $10,000 each at the cap.
- Coal Block โ Copper Block โ Iron Block โ Gold Block โ Diamond Block โ Netherite Block.
๐ช Lumberjack
Sell logs. Seven overworld tree species in increasing rarity.
- Oak โ Birch โ Spruce โ Jungle โ Acacia โ Dark Oak โ Mangrove.
๐ก๏ธ Hunter
Kill mobs for a chance to drop their head. Sell the heads for money + xp.
- Zombie โ Skeleton โ Spider โ Zombified Piglin โ Enderman โ Wither โ Warden.
- 5% chance per eligible kill. Mobs from spawners don't drop heads โ no farming spawner traps. Pets and named mobs are also excluded.
- You can collect heads of mobs you haven't unlocked yet; they sit in your inventory until you reach the level that sells them.
๐ค Jobs โ /sell
/sell from the shop plays nice with whatever job you're in.
- If a shop sign and your own job tier both price an item,
/sellpays you the higher of the two and you still earn the tier's job xp. /sellskips items that belong to a job you don't have. Those need to be sold through that job's GUI, by someone in that job, or not at all.- Jobless players are unchanged โ
/sellstill works at shop prices the way it always did.
๐ Keep Inventory
Death now keeps your inventory and your xp levels.
- The vanilla /gamerule keepInventory is enabled. Items don't drop on death; your hotbar, armor, and offhand stay equipped; xp levels survive the respawn.
- Mob loot, breaking blocks, and any other "loose items in the world" still drop as normal โ this only changes what happens when you die.
