🏆 SFRanks — Earn Your Place on the Ladder

A brand-new earned-rank system, driven by your total skill levels across all six SFRpg skills (Digging + Mining + Logging + Gardening + Hunting + Fishing). Every 100 total levels you cross unlocks the next rank — and bigger perks.

The ladder (low → high):

  • Rookie — 0+ total skill levels
  • Warrior — 100+
  • Spartan — 200+
  • General — 300+
  • Demigod — 400+
  • Olympian — 500+
  • Titan — 600+
  • Immortal — 700+
  • Goat — 800+

Per-rank perks (more to come over time):

  • +1 home per rankup. Rookies keep the existing 3 homes; you climb all the way to 11 homes at Goat.
  • Auto Sell Chests placed at once — Rookies can have 1, +1 every 2 ranks, capped at 5 at Goat.
  • Pandora's Chests placed at once — same scaling: 1 → 5.

What you'll see in-game:

  • A colored [Rank] tag in chat (between your role/title and your name) and in the tab list.
  • Hitting a new rank fires a server-wide announcement, a title pop on your screen, and a celebratory sound.
  • New command /rank — your current rank, progress to the next, and your current perks.
  • /rank ladder — the full ladder with thresholds and perks at each tier.
  • /rank <player> — look up another player.

⚠️ If you already have 100+ total skill levels, you'll be credited your earned rank the next time you log in — no action required. The announcement and sound will play once for your final earned rank (no spam for each tier you skipped past).

⚠️ Already over a chest cap? Anything you've already placed stays placed and works exactly as before. You just can't place a new Auto Sell or Pandora's Chest of that type until your placed count drops below your rank's cap (pick one up, or rank up).

🌐 SFChat — Website, Discord, and Vote Links

  • /website (alias /site) is now usable by every member and shows the link to just you — no more broadcasting.
  • New /discord command shows you a clickable link to join the Sleeping Forest Discord at discord.gg/ApUMWj4vK3.
  • New /broadcastsite and /broadcastdiscord commands (admin only) broadcast the website and Discord links to every online player. The old /website broadcast behaviour now lives under /broadcastsite.
  • /vote (anyone) still shows a private clickable link to vote for Sleeping Forest on Planet Minecraft.

💬 SFChat — Pink, Orange, and Light Green Readability Fix

  • The Pink, Orange, and Light Green options in /chat color were previously pulled from Minecraft's wool/dye palette so they'd match the dye icon. Those exact RGBs turned out to be hard to read against chat backgrounds.
  • All three now use the closest vanilla chat color instead — brighter and far more legible:
    • Pink → vanilla Light Purple
    • Orange → vanilla Gold
    • Light Green → vanilla Lime
  • If you'd already picked one of those three colors, your selection is automatically bumped to the new color the next time you log in — no need to re-open the picker.

⛏️ Vein Miner — Now Gives Full Mining XP

  • Bug fix: Vein Miner was only crediting Mining XP for the first block you clicked — every other ore in the vein was broken silently with no XP.
  • Now every ore Vein Miner breaks gives the same XP it would if you'd mined it by hand (Coal/Copper 5, Iron 10, Gold/Emerald 25, Diamond 50, other ores 1).
  • Silk Touch still skips XP, same as a regular mine.

🛒 SFShop — Brand-New Shop GUI The shop is now a full GUI experience. Every physical sign you've already placed still works exactly as before.

  • /shop now opens a 4-row menu with Buy / Sell / Teleport buttons and a Recent Purchases band showing your last 5 buys — click any of them to instantly repurchase the same item and quantity at the current price.
  • Buy and Sell browse by category: Blocks, Redstone, Decoration, Ores, Spawners, Misc. Only items with shop signs appear in each tab.
  • Clicking a buy item opens a quantity prompt: pick a preset (1 / 16 / 32 / 64) or use the red/lime glass panes to dial in any custom amount. Capped at 10 stacks per transaction.
  • Costs you can't afford are shown in red and clicking them does nothing — no more accidental "Insufficient funds" spam in chat.
  • Spawners get their own tab and display as the actual spawner item you receive (correct spawn-egg model and name).

⚠️ /shop no longer teleports as its default action. Use the new Teleport to Shop button inside the GUI.

💰 SFShop — New /sell Command

  • /sell instantly sells every plain item in your inventory that has an admin Sell sign anywhere on the server, at the best per-unit price available.
  • Custom-named tools, enchanted items, mending books, custom-enchant books, and spawners are never auto-sold — safe to run with valuable items in your inventory.
